Finally, the woman who always goes just a little bit too far has taken it past the point of no return. There's no coming back from this. In Sons Of Anarchys final season, Gemma Teller-Morrow, the double-barreled double-widow who's survived gang war and gang rape, and twice conspired to have her husbands murdered, is going to get what's coming to her. Well she has to, right? She killed her daughter-in-law with a barbecue fork, under the impression that Tara was ratting Jackson and the MC out to the feds under RICO laws against organised crime, laws that would bury her son and the club in prison for decades. Granted, her information was out of date she didnt know that Jax had reached an agreement to save his family by turning himself in to the local District Attorney but still. This is beyond the pale, even for Gemma. And this is the final season. Theres no dragging this out, as Sutter dragged out the revelation of her complicity in John Tellers death. Jacksons gonna find out, and when he does well, who knows. Katey Sagals monumental, monstrous performance as the fearless, ruthless matriarch of the MC has rightly been praised as the linchpin that holds the grand guignol melodrama together. And just as Sagal is the beating heart of the show, Gemma Teller-Morrow is the beating heart of SAMCRO. Can even Kurt Sutter, Sagals real life husband, bear to have Gemma killed off? Can Jax? Apparently, those who have seen the premiere say that the hot-headed Gemma feels terrible remorse for Tara's murder, even going to Jacksons reformed junkie ex-wife Wendy for emotional support, and possibly even asking forgiveness from Tara's ghost. Thats not going to be enough for many fans, though. Love her or hate her, there needs to be an accounting.
