Sons Of Anarchy Season 7: 7 Reasons To Be Excited

1. There€™s Just No Place For A Streetfighting Man

Gemma Teller-Morrow may be the heart of the show, but it€™s Jackson Teller€™s story, and it€™s a story that€™s thirteen blood-drenched episodes away from coming to a close. Will Jax live to see the end of it? Let€™s recap. His wife is dead, just as it looked as though he'd cut a deal that would save her and put him away in her place. The long-term vision for the club and for his family that he'd nurtured for the past three seasons of the show, and that was born when he found his father's diaries in the pilot: that€™s now dead. What's the point, without his wife? Now, he's focused on setting up alliances based on the short-term goals of on revenge and saving the lives of the members of his club. Not only is preventing further bloodshed no longer one of his objectives, it€™s directly contrary to his plans. And this is all without him even being aware that Tara€™s death is directly down to Gemma, the Queen Gertrude to his Hamlet. When he finds out €“ and he€™s going to find out €“ all hell will break loose. And while there may have been a place in life for the family man committed to making a real life for those he loves, there€™s no place in this world for a man twisted by loss, pain, betrayal. From Kurt Sutter himself:
€œObviously, it's a major shift in the mythology. I knew, ultimately, where I wanted to take Jax in the final season. I wanted to remove his 'True North,' because I feel like there needs to be this major psychic and emotional shift that has to happen. What direction it will push him in we will see next season. But what happens to a guy like that now that he's lost both of the people he loves the most?"
Mind you, Jackson€™s a clever boy. He's survived longer than anyone thought possible. He may still have a way through all of this mess. After all, as Wayne Unser says in the trailers, "Jax Teller is formidable€ and he's as smart as he is dangerous." But the theme of season seven is gunfire, warfare and fighting in the streets €“ and episode one is titled €˜Black Widower€™. Let€™s see whether Jackson Teller survives to see the Reaper fade in. What are you looking forward to most in the final season of Sons Of Anarchy? Tell us all about it in the comments€
