As stated, the bridge for Captain Klaa's ship in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier was yet another newly constructed set used to represent the interior of a Klingon Bird-of-Prey. However, unlike the previous two versions, this one stuck around to be used in another movie, showing up in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country as General Chang's bridge.

Remaining mostly unchanged from The Final Frontier, Chang's bridge was given a green lighting scheme to indicate "battle status" and a new console was positioned directly behind the captain's chair. This new console is notable because it contained a rarity in the Star Trek Universe: A steering wheel.

Described by director Nicholas Meyer as an "enormous thing that was impossible to move", the Bird-of-Prey's steering wheel is barely visible in the finished film, but an unnamed Klingon officer can be seen operating the antiquated technology in the background of a couple shots during the movie's climax.

Sadly, while many elements of Captain Klaa's / General Chang's bridge would be incorporated into future Birds-of-Prey (like the aforementioned periscope), Chang's steering wheel was gifted to Meyer after filming of The Undiscovered Country concluded and the prop was never replaced.
