Star Trek: 10 Things You Didn't Know About Weyoun

2. Count Them Up

Star Trek Weyoun
CBS Media Ventures

Across the course of DS9 there are five Weyouns to appear on screen, leaving Jeffrey Combs with the dubious honour of being the person killed the most times in Star Trek history. Four is eliminated in To the Death, Five dies offscreen in a mysterious transporter accident that Damar has nothing whatsoever to do with. Six takes his own life aboard a Runabout with Odo in Treachery, Faith and the Great River.

The seventh clone has his neck snapped by Worf rather unceremoniously when he and Dax are captured during the ten-part finale. Eight would be terminated in What You Leave Behind by Garak marking the end of the clone line since their production facility had been destroyed.

The first three Weyouns are never mentioned in the series with both theirs and Weyoun Five's death occurring off-screen.

A Star Trek fan from birth, I love to dive into every aspect of the franchise in front and behind the screen. There's something here that's kept me interested for the best part of four decades! Now I'm getting back into writing and using Star Trek as my first line of literary attack. If I'm not here on WhatCulture then you're more than welcome to come and take a look at my blog, Some Kind of Star Trek at http://SKoST.co.uk or maybe follow me on Twitter as @TheWarpCore. Sometimes I force myself not to talk about Star Trek.
