Star Trek: 10 Worlds You Will NEVER Visit

9. Paraagan II

STAR TREK Enterprise Temporal Cold War

What really happened during the NX-01's mission? Was it really all endless exploration, countless first contacts, and saving Earth from destruction? Was there something more sinister cloaked beneath the surface on the long warp to the Federation? They say time heals all wounds except those caused by massive atmosphere-igniting plasma-tetrazine reactions.

'Paraagan II' is now unfortunately misnamed. 249 years after the encounter with Enterprise's shuttlepod that killed all 3,600 colonists, the planet is not home to a single Paraagan nor much else for that matter. When Blass arrived in orbit, he could almost smell the burning. Ship's logs and communication records state that Enterprise's mission was cancelled after the Paraagan 'incident'. Captain Archer then acquired advanced quantum engineering skills in his 'sleep' to prove that Paraagan was those darn Suliban's doing all along.

Archer himself noted that he got this information in the past from a man called "Daniels" (no other name was found) — a former crewman on Enterprise who was really a "temporal agent" from the "31st century" involved in a "temporal cold war". GTN contacted the Department of Temporal Investigations here in the 25th century for comment, but all they said was they'd get back to us yesterday.
