Of course, when you're doing a Star Trek reboot, you have to make sure that you let the new generation of Star Trek viewers know that Kirk is a ladies man. What better way to do that than to have him fooling around with an Orion?

We've seen the green ladies in the original series and it was a treat to see one in the new movie. It is super helpful to have her played by Rachel Nichols. When I saw her on Continuum I kept thinking, I know her from some place. My Ah Ha moment!
