6. Denobulans In Danger
The Mugato is actually threatening two cowering aliens who appear to be Denobulans, the same species as Star Trek: Enterprise's Doctor Phlox.
Denobulans were a new alien race created for Star Trek: Enterprise and, while they made several appearances in that series, they haven't been seen since. But, as with so many little obscure details in the Star Trek Universe, the “Denobulan flesh-eating bacteria” was given a shoutout in Lower Decks last season in the episode "Veritas".
