9. Discovery Down
One of the most striking images comes right out the gate with the USS Discovery having apparently plowed into the surface of the unknown planet that's featured heavily in Season 3's trailer.
While it's honestly a shock the spindly design of Disco can handle that kind of a beating, this is apparently where the crew of Discovery begins to explore the future as another shot in the trailer shows Saru and Tilly disembarking from the ship straight into this desolate terrain.
While we don't know what planet this is (a sad future Earth maybe?), we do know that scenes for this location were filmed in Iceland last summer.
