Star Trek: Picard - 6 Ups & 3 Downs From Nepenthe

4. Elnor's Commitment To The Gimmick

Elnor only agreed to travel with Picard because the Qowat Milat only believe in bonding themselves to lost causes.

Then he beamed aboard the Borg Cube to try and aid his escape because, again, he believed the situation was a hopeless one.

This week he chose to remain behind on the Artifact in order to help Hugh and the rest of the X-Bs survive the wrath of their Romulan hosts.

Now he's being told how to "activate" the hidden powers about the vessel to take on what's left of the Romulan government.

I mean, if you're going to have a philosophy, might as well go all in on it. Elnor's a bizarre subplot all of his own in this show, but it's interesting viewing if nothing else.
