Star Trek: Picard - 7 Ups & 2 Downs From Episode 4 'Absolute Candor'

Star Trek" Picard has, thus far, been a show that's obsessed with all the things it's going to do. As touched on before, episodes 2 and 3 didn't really move the plot on that much and we're still exactly where we were at the end of episode 1. A mysterious girl, who may or may not be connected to Data, needs Picard's help... all we've done since is get the band back together.

But Episode 4 felt different. In facing his past demons and then having a shootout with a Romulan warlord, the show finally feels like it's left the Chateau and moved into space. Ironically, yes, with a holographic version of the chateau in tow.

Where we go from here feels genuinely exciting, so here's hoping for big, big reveals in Episode 5.
