Captain James Kirk was a colossus of a character: a lover, a fighter, a thinker and a suspiciously impeccably tanned man considering the lack of natural sunlight on his ship. He was often an enigma, but also irresistibly watchable. He was a rule-breaker, a show-stealer and made hands-on captaining a hallmark of Enterprise captains forever.
