After
details were revealed this morning of what we can expect from the Star Trek The Next Generation First Season Blu-ray box set; a number of screenshots have also been released to further wet our appetites. All the screenshots look amazing and you can see how much clearer everything is after the HD conversion. What is really striking is how nice the phaser shots look as well as the Enterprise itself. The Spacedock looks stunning and is seen in more detail than ever before. Also, you have much more contrast in the lighting on peoples faces and the increased colour saturation makes everything look fresh. Paramount have really done the series justice as it celebrates its 25th anniversary and these teasers show that we are in for a treat once the box set is released on July 23rd.
