Star Trek: Voyager - Ranking Every Major Character Worst To Best

10. Icheb

Star Trek Voyager
Paramount

One of four Borg children that were recovered from a derelict Hive, Icheb was never fully integrated into the Collective and thus bringing out his sense of self wasn't as tough as it had been for Seven of Nine. Seven takes it upon herself to instruct Icheb and the others (Azan, Rezi and Mezoti) in science, starship operations and most importantly, fun.

While the other Borg children eventually found a home to call their own, Icheb had been rejected by his parents and instead chose to remain on Voyager, even going so far as to attempt to sacrifice himself to save Seven's life in the episode 'Imperfection'. He was well on his way to becoming a Starfleet Officer when the show concluded, serving as a surrogate son for Seven of Nine.

Icheb would recur briefly in Star Trek: Picard, sealing a fate for the character that divided the fanbase and left a distasteful residue, considering how decent a young man he had been.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
