Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Trailer Breakdown: 16 Things You Need To See

Midway through the trailer, there is a beautiful shot of Ezra on Mandalore that is reminiscent of another classic, Mandalore moment. We know that the mission to liberate Mandalore from the tyranny of the Empire is coming, as it is set to kick off the fourth and final season. And while the rest of the Ghost crew are seemingly absent, we know that Ezra and Chopper will assist Sabine and her clan.

This shot specifically calls back to the last time we saw Mandalore in Star Wars animation. In the final part of the Maul/Mandalore trilogy, Obi-Wan fights his way off the planet with the help of Bo-Katan Kryze. As a blast door opens, Obi-Wan stands centre frame while the Mandalorian Civil War rages on in front of him. While the Rebels version may not be as colourful, it is clearly a direct homage to that classic moment and as Rebels has been gearing towards, brings things full circle.
