The Bad Batch series is almost upon us, with the fine team behind Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels set to deliver another rousing offering to the galaxy far, far away.

Series creator, Dave Filoni, was also one of the creatives behind the Disney+ hit The Mandalorian. Once season two came around, the showrunner decided to sprinkle some of his unresolved Rebels plot points into the mix. This was the same when Rebels first came around and started implementing untouched material left over from the then cancelled Clone Wars.

Now it is The Bad Batch's turn to tackle any unfinished business left from the Clone Wars era.

When season seven of The Clone Wars aired, fans got to see The Bad Batch in action as their previously cut episodes were only available as short unfinished footage. These scenes were accompanied by a bunch of other slices of cut content which may resurface in the new series given Filoni's track record.

On top of deleted scenes, there is still a tonne of mysteries left over for the show to tackle as well as some newly raised questions thanks to Rebels and The Mandalorian. While we may not get an answer to everything in this one spin-off series, there is still a high possibility some of them will be addressed.

10. Wolffe And Gregor's Chips

The heart-wrenching final season of The Clone Wars featured the one moment all fans of the series were dreading - Order 66.

Seeing the clone troopers and Jedi we'd watched for years eventually be turned against each other was never going to be easy. The moment was expertly done as the series had already set up the plot point of the clones' inhibitor chips back in season six.

When it came time for Rex and the rest of Ahsoka's squad to turn on her she managed to remove the chip inside Rex's head. While none of the other clones survived the ordeal, Ahsoka and Rex manage to escape and head their separate ways.

By the time Rebels comes around over a decade later, Rex had teamed up with Wolffe and Gregor, two previously high-ranking soldiers in the Galactic Republic who, like Rex, also had their chips removed.

Fans are still left in the dark as to how exactly Wolffe and Gregor faired during Order 66 and when Rex would have found them, so any explanation The Bad Batch could provide would be welcome.
