Stargate: Every Villain Ranked Worst To Best
2. The Wraith
From the very outset of Stargate Atlantis, the Wraith were established as the scourge of an entire galaxy. They had vanquished the Ancient Lanteans, they had mastered cloning technology and they swept a dark tide of misery over every population left behind. Unlike the Goa'uld (who enslaved the multitude of humans in the Milky Way), the Wraith only viewed the humans of Pegasus as nourishment.
Every few hundred years, the Wraith would emerge from their hibernation and devastate the human populations of the Pegasus galaxy, culling them to be used for food. When a captive of the Wraith, a human could look forward to an agonising death as the life is sucked from them through vicious wounds in their chest. Those few Wraith that remained awake to monitor the others would also routinely limit human development, preventing them from developing offensive technology to be used against them.
The Goa'uld demanded that they be worshipped as Gods, while the Wraith did not care that the galaxy below them feared and despised them. They were the supreme hunters and callous overlords of an entire galaxy and their threat was only tempered by how much they hated each other as well as anyone who would challenge them.
