Stranger Things Season 2: 10 Best Moments

1. Bob Dies (Chapter 8)

It initially seemed like Joyce's new boyfriend Bob was going to be something of a wet blanket this season, and even possibly a secret villain, but he ultimately turned out to be one of season two's best new characters, allowing Sean Astin to give his best and most memorable performance since, well, Lord of the Rings.

Bob proves himself to be an extremely smart and resourceful character numerous times, especially when the Hawkins Lab is placed on lockdown and only he is equipped to operate the computer system to unlock the doors, which auto-lock in the event of a power outage.

Bob is successful in this task, but after barely managing to outrun a Demo-Dog on his way back to Joyce, is tackled by another Demo-Dog out of nowhere. Later on, Bob's corpse is shown being feasted on by a pack of the beasts. What a damn shame, even if the episode telegraphed his fate hilariously far in advance.
