Stranger Things Season 2: 9 Crazy Fan Theories (That Might Actually Be True)
1. Eleven's Return
As heavily hinted by the end of Season 1, and despite her heroic sacrifice, Eleven is coming back. It's not being kept a secret, but what they are keeping under wraps is what happened to her, why Hopper was leaving out Eggos, and how she'll make her return.
One of the trailers sees this return take place - or at least, that's what it looks like - as she pushes through a portal and into an empty corridor, which looks like the school we last saw her at. It's expected this'll happen in Season 2, but what if, timeline wise, it already has?
If Hopper is leaving out Eggos, it suggests that Eleven is able to retreive them. Meanwhile, one of the scrapped episode titles was The Secret Cabin, and we've seen shots in the trailers of what looks like that.
In the most recent trailer, dropped today in fact, we see Eleven in the woods. So, as broken down in this extensive Reddit post, it looks likely that Eleven was able to make a surprisingly swift return to our world, Hopper found her, and she's been hidden away in the woods for safety - until something - and I'd guess it's very much related to Mike calling for her help - draws her out.
