Supergirl: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
14. Imra Ardeen
Showing up from the future with the Legion of Superheroes, Imra Ardeen turned out to be the futuristic wife of Mon-El - who we all knew was destined to be with Kara. And, although this archetypal narrative required us to hate the person who came between the time-crossed lovers, it was impossible to hate Imra.
A well-developed character in her own right, Imra's determination in both her attempts to save her marriage and to stop the Blight were great examples of just how strong Saturn Girl really was at heart.
Though she fell victim to one or two "jealous girlfriend" stereotypes (when she really didn't have to), the writers rectified the problem by having her make the decision to peacefully walk away from her marriage - refusing to blame Mon-El for his resurfacing feelings for Kara while commending him for never acting on them while he was still married to her. This didn't just illustrate how mature a character Imra was, it saved us all from what could have been a ton of unnecessarily soapy drama.
All that aside, it was a joy to watch her kick ass with the Legion and Amy Jackson did a fantastic job bringing Imra to life.
