Ok, so the trailer was admittedly a little heavy handed when it comes to classic Superman imagery, but if there's one shot it's hard to fault, it has to be this one. Framed very much like the shots of Christopher Reeve taking flight as Superman and in a pose reminiscent of Helen Slater's Supergirl, Melissa Benoist stretches out her arms and looks every bit like Supergirl. With a TV budget, how many scenes like this there will be remains to be seen.
