Supernatural, Buffy The Vampire Slayer Or The X-Files: Which Show Do These Actors Appear In?

The unholy TV triumvirate of Hunters, Slayers and Feds share more than you might think.

Acting may not be the oldest profession in the world, but it sure as heck can be one of the strangest, especially when it comes to long-running television shows.

We invite characters into our lives and return to them week after week, growing together and maybe even learning a thing or two along the way. Then we revisit some old episodes of a forgotten favourite and spot a familiar face, or they pop up in a new show, spiffy haircut, jazzy outfit, and we're expected to, what, just accept this?!

Yep, it can often take a fair bit of adjustment when one of our favourite witches turns up as a vampire, or if Satan himself reappears as a bellybutton-less fast food cashier...

Unfortunately for us, sci-fi/fantasy genre giants Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The X-Files share onscreen talent like zombies share a brain. And not just the supporting cast either. Many alumni from the shows have passed on into their successors, trading starring roles for cameos and vice versa.

If you're gonna make it out the other side of this one, you had better know your shows, your stars and the various roles they've made their own. But be warned, some of these are wicked tricky.
