The crazy ride of hunters involved many characters, be it of human nature or of non-terrestrial origin. Some characters helped when Dean and Sam where in danger. However, the others only thwarted their holy mission, especially people. As the courageous hunter once said, “Demons I get. People are crazy.”
Despite all the help they got from loyal Bobby Singer, controversial MacLeod family or naïve angel Castiel, the boys were pretty much on their own. After losing their mother at early age, Dean took care of Sammy. The boys did all the cooking and cleaning along managing the family business, saving people, hunting things.
That’s why Mrs. Butters’ appearance in the bunker felt so heartwarming. The caring woman transferred the hunter’s lair into a house. The smell of pies almost overpassed the screens. Unfortunately, the woman with magical powers was not meant to stay with us for long. Although her appearance was trivial, her presence made us look at Winchester brothers from another, more cute angel.
