Teen Titans Revival: 10 Reasons It Will Be Better Than Titans
9. Cyborg
One of the glaring issues with the Titans trailer for longtime fans is the fact that one of the team's central figures seems to be missing in action. Robin, Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy are all present and accounted for, but Cyborg is nowhere to be seen. And judging by Titans' IMDb page, he won't be appearing in the show at all.
This is a pretty baffling decision, to say the very least. After all, in both the Teen Titans animated series and the original comics, Cyborg was essentially the backbone of the team. He was often portrayed as Robin's second-in-command, someone the other members could confide in, and was generally very entertaining.
Sure, Cyborg is now being pushed as a member of the Justice League in DC's film universe, but if there's anything Superman and Barry Allen's Flash have taught us, it's that DC is perfectly fine with having characters appear in films and on TV at the same time. So, no matter which way you look at it, Titans' exclusion of Cyborg makes absolutely no sense.
Meanwhile, the teaser for the Teen Titans revival makes it perfectly clear that this fan-favorite character will return (because, again, why would he not?) And given the aforementioned character development the team has had, he's bound to be as great as ever.
