9. Tarkin
The trailer closes with a familiar face and voice in the form of Tarkin, who appears to be congratulating the Bad Batch on their "impressive display". The exterior of the room looks like they could be on Kamino and could be in response to their training demonstration seen earlier on in the trailer (more on that later). Could the Bad Batch be taking on a mission for Tarkin? And is this taking place pre or post Order 66?
Either way, it's good to see Tarkin being brought back. Stephen Stanton did a fantastic job voicing Tarkin in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and again in Star Wars Rebels, and while he wasn't featured heavily, he's a key figure in the rise of the Empire. We don't expect him to be a key antagonist of the Bad Batch series, but seeing this character grow into the villain that we first met in A New Hope way back in 1977 will be a treat.
