The Big Bang Theory: 10 Major Predictions For Season 12

It's a known fact by now that Leonard's mother Beverly rarely shows any sign of affection towards her son. Despite the fact that Leonard is succeeding in his role as an experimental physicist, he has always been unable to earn the admiration he desires from his own mother.

Beverly's reasoning behind this? She views Leonard's brother and sister as being her more successful children, seeing as they're a Harvard law professor and a medical researcher respectively.

We've never actually seen these siblings before though. All we know about them is their professions and that the brother is called Michael. Beverly pops in now and again, so surely season 12 can see bring her other children along with her? We don't even really know if Leonard gets on with them, although judging by what his mother thinks of him, he probably doesn't.

It could perhaps be a family gathering between Penny and Leonard's families, possibly to celebrate either of their birthdays. It would be interesting to see the contrast in lifestyles between the two sides of the marriage, with Penny's Nebraskan family heritage and Leonard's more educated background. Nevertheless though, we should get to meet the rest of Leonard's family at least once before the end of the show.
