10. Leonard And Penny Get Married

With an on-off relationship to rival Ross and Rachel's, the show's central couple (admit it or not, it's the truth) have been through it all: the "will they, won't they?" phase, the 'almost' moments, then the relief as they finally got together... only for them to break up and go back to square one. Even the getting engaged part had to be complicated as Leonard asked Penny for the first time in bed just after committing to take things slow when they got back together. Now that things seem to be (fairly) steady, the audience wants to finally see them settle. Of course, no one expects this to be a smooth ride when it comes to these two: there will no doubt be more fights, and more drama, probably also including them considering their long-term future. Any fan of The Big Bang Theory would know not to breathe easy until the rings are on fingers and it's all nice and legal, but after eight seasons of Leonard being infatuated with Penny, surely it's all got to work out in the end...
