Can you see it? The internet is home to thousands of brilliant, crazy, wacky, weird characters, and it's also the breeding ground for wild conspiracy theories about pretty much anything and everything. The illuminati conspiracy far pre-dates the internet, but it has descended into modern meme culture, and its inclusion in the Big Bang Theory intro saw the dark corners of the internet yet again questioning what it meant.
The longest shot in the title sequence is of the traditional pyramid with the illuminati eye above it, as seen on a dollar note, while throughout the titles various references to pyramids and even the stone mason symbol subtly on top of a boat featured.
