5. Raj Getting Involved In A Serious Relationship
Raj is a mixed up character. For long swathes of the series' run, he has been unable to speak to women without being intoxicated and even then he comes across as a buffoon. So when he finally met Lucy (played by the wonderful Kate Micucci, Scrubs), an equally as screwed up character who has even more character flaws than Raj himself (impossible I hear you say), we were happy for him. The relationship was a tender one, if at times comical due to Lucy consistently escaping through bathroom windows during dates after her crippling shyness got the better of her. It made sense. Here are two people who are compatible because of the very fact that they're incompatible, and therefore form a connection. But the relationship appears to be over now after Raj tried to get her to push her already restricted social boundaries a little too hard in the series finale and that's a real shame. We'd love for them to reconcile in series 7, or at the very least for Raj to meet someone new. He's the only member of the gang who isn't in any sort of relationship and it's time that changed.
