The Big Bang Theory Season 12: 10 Things That Must Happen Before It Ends

6. Sheldon Becomes More Romantic

Big Bang Theory Season 12
CBS

Ever since the first time Sheldon popped up on our screens, he was never one for romance. It simply didn't interest him one bit. That changed slightly, however, when he met Amy, a plan that he initially wasn't keen on participating in.

Despite being one of the show's main talking points, the pair - ShAmy as they were referred to when they first started seeing each other - haven't been that much of a close couple. They go on dates together and spend some quality time in the company of each other but that's about it. In fact, newer fans who aren't familiar with Sheldon's traits may find it surprising to see Amy staying with him, seeing as she wants romance in her relationship.

On occasion though, Sheldon has been quite the romantic, and this is something TBBT producers should incorporate slightly more for the last season. They shouldn't cram it all in at once though, as that makes it look like they're trying to make a major change to Sheldon's character. Just little bits here and there so that it creates a whole new dynamic to his and Amy's relationship.
