1. Drunk
Sheldon doesn't drink alcohol, so it doesn't take much for him to get a little merry. We've seen him deafen the patrons of The Cheesecake Factory with his rendition of songs from Fiddler On The Roof after Penny had slipped a little something into his drink. But the best drunken moment of Dr Sheldon Cooper is when he received The Chancellors Award. The whole episode was based around Sheldon trying to overcome his fear of presenting to a large group, but his friend's efforts proved ineffective, so he had to take other measures. Whilst sitting in the audience, waiting to be called to the stage, Sheldon began to feel uneasy. Penny passed him a glass of wine to calm his nerves and, despite his better judgement; he quickly gulped it down, shortly followed by another. Instead of being introduced to the stage, a rather tipsy Sheldon called out that he was ready to go up. He half ran to the stage, swigging on the remainder of a bottle of wine as he did so. Instead of talking about his academic work, Sheldon began his speech by mocking Leonard's height. He then proceeded to tell jokes, with a strange swagger taking over his usually awkward body. Then it was time for him to get serious, with a stern look upon his face he rhetorically asked why they were there and what they, as scientists, were all studying. He then asked what the universe was made of, telling the audience that he was so glad that they had asked, before bursting into a song which detailed all of the elements on the periodic table. He asked the audience to join in but they just sat in stunned silence. This reaction didn't stop him, though, as he found out the next morning via a Youtube video. After singing, it was time to contemplate the dimensions of the universe and, more importantly, whether it was possible to remove his pants over his head. Of course, he doesn't quite manage this, but while explaining it, off come the pants in the traditional way. To top it all off, he then turns around and shows everyone 'the dark side of the moon'. This scene is hilarious to watch because it makes a change from the awkward, overly-intelligent and occasionally annoying Sheldon that we know and love and replaces him with scenes of embarrassment.
