Yet this comes to pass as the lovable geek is roped into giving a speech to young girls about future jobs working in science. He attempts to inspire the children by telling the tale of Madame Curie, co-discover of radioactivity. Yes, a hero of science, this story will surely enthuse any aspiring young scientist, right? Well, not if you mention the fact that all her hair fell out, her vomit and stool became filled with blood before she as poisoned to death by her own discovery. Could have probably left that bit out...
