Just over two full years have passed since The Big Bang Theory aired its final episode, bringing an end to the geeky sitcom.
Of the main ensemble of characters, Raj Koothrappali was by one the show's quirkiest, which doesn't say all too much, really. Still, the Caltech astrophysicist dished out some memorable moments throughout the show's history, often being at the tail-end of jokes and running gags.
Initially held back via selective mutism when it came to talking to women, Raj eventually overcame this, opening the door for Kunal Nayyar to truly perfect his performance as the character. The British actor brought something to the character and to the show as a whole; all four main male characters were nerds, but Raj was a different breed. The aforementioned selective mutism contributed to this.
Appearing in all 279 episodes of TBBT, Koothrappali understandably comes with a ton of history that has easily gone forgotten since the first episode aired back in September 2007, ranging from his relationships to his deepest, darkest fears.
Regardless, there are bound to be a select few Rajesh fans out there who won't dare get a question wrong.
