The Boys: 8 Worst Things The Seven Have Done
1. Homelander And Queen Maeve Abandoned Flight 37
When trans-oceanic flight 37 was hijacked, the U.S military scrambled to respond, but when Stillwell was informed, she saw her opportunity. Knowing they could respond quicker than any F-16, she sent Homelander and Queen Maeve into the sky to not only rescue the plane and its passengers, but prove a point - that her superheroes should be in the military.
Everything was going to plan when the two heroes killed the terrorists, however both the plane's captain and co-captain were killed - Homelander even destroyed the controls too.
While Maeve at least tried to think of some way to save the passengers of Flight 37, Homelander gave up without even trying, condemning all 123 men, women, and children to a horrible death, and even going as far as threatening to laser them when they approached him for help. Maeve tried to convince him to at least save a small girl and her mother, but the leader of the Seven wouldn’t allow it.
Heroes are supposed to help people when they really need it, yet Homelander gave up on saving the passengers, and even had the audacity to use the crash and the public’s mourning to further his ambition of fighting with the military after the wreckage of the crash was found with no survivors.
