The Boys: Every Episode Ranked Worst To Best
1. What I Know (Season 2, Episode 8)
The season two finale is the best episode of the show yet, making the upcoming third season all the more exciting and anticipated. Not only does What I Know feature the now-iconic "girls get it done" scene, in which Starlight, Kimiko and Maeve work to defeat Stormfront, it also features Butcher fighting his desire to cut Ryan out of Becca's life and Homelander's desire to have Ryan working by his side.
What I Know is incredibly violent, as Homelander massacres a whole squad of Vought soldiers when he loses his son and The Boys gear up against Stormfront, who has just been publicly ousted as a racist and a Nazi. But it's also incredibly emotional, as Becca dies in Butcher's arms, Hughie and Annie finally get back together, and Butcher manages to put his prejudice to one side after promising to keep Ryan safe.
This being a Boys episode, there are also some startling twists, including the fact that Victoria Neuman is the supe who's been blowing up people's heads and that A-Train and Starlight have been let back into the Seven without The Deep. It does a remarkable job of tying up loose ends, but also does just enough to tease a fresh slate moving forward.
Here's to hoping season three maintains The Boys' momentum, and brings the thrills like never before.
