The Falcon And The Winter Soldier: Every Episode Ranked
3. One World, One People
One World, One People wasn’t a perfect ending for the show. The Power Broker revelation never quite felt justified given Sharon's vastly different characterisation in the films, and more could have been done to make her decision to go full-on crime lord more believable.
That said, what did work worked so well that the finale was still a very satisfying experience. The conflict with the Flag Smashers was memorably concluded, as Karli died for her cause and Sam convinced the GRC to abandon its unfeeling plans with a powerful speech. On a similar note, Sam clearly established himself as a worthy Captain America through his heroism and compassion.
It was touching to see several characters find closure towards the episode’s end, as Bucky told Yori the truth, Sam bravely confronted the complex nature of his role as Captain America head-on, and Isaiah finally received recognition for his courage and sacrifice.
Things also ended satisfyingly with regards to Zemo, who was able to continue his war against super-soldiers from behind bars with the aid of Oeznik, his loyal butler/assassin. Even Walker managed to salvage some honour and dignity, as he prioritised saving lives over his desire for vengeance and was offered a second chance as the U.S. Agent. All in all, a good finale.
