Ayo making the trip from Wakanda to Latvia and turning up at the end of episode three was one of the biggest shocks of the series so far, and it led to the awesome fight between the Dora Milaje, and John and Lemar. Sam and Bucky eventually got involved, though this was really only to break it up.

Before this, the start of the episode showed that Bucky and Ayo had spent some time together in Wakanda, and she had helped rid him of the Winter Soldier curse. It seems as though they almost became friends, and as such she was shocked he would break Zemo out of prison after what he did to her King.

She also clearly knew about his vibranium arm, even more so than Bucky himself. The two came face to face during the scramble, and Ayo was able to deactivate his arm and disconnect it from his body entirely.

It was a crazy moment in the fight, and one that may have more significance before the end of the series. Why else would the showrunners choose to include and make a big deal out of such a thing if it wouldn't be exploited again further down the line? Could Bucky end the series without an arm once again, just like at the end of Civil War?
