The Flash: 10 Biggest Questions We Have For Season 6

8. How Will Joe Adapt To Being CCPD Captain?

Joe West may have been absent for quite a lot of the season (due to Jesse L. Martin's back injury), but he wasted no time making his presence felt upon his return, as he got stuck into the Cicada mystery and attempted to help his loved ones figure out how to stop the metahuman killer. In doing so, he oversaw S.T.A.R. Labs' administering of the metahuman cure at CCPD and, as always, was there to provide his family with some much-needed advice throughout the whole saga.

This determination to help people clearly impressed Captain Singh who, upon revealing that he had been promoted to Chief of Police, chose him as his replacement.

Undoubtedly a well-earned promotion, Joe has been one of Central City's primary guardians for a long time and he will have no problem continuing to protect it as captain. However, as we saw during the cure debacle, running CCPD can be an overwhelming task, so will how will he handle the full-time transition into this role?

If anyone is capable of taking on such a huge responsibility, it's undoubtedly Joe.
