The Flash: 10 Biggest Questions We Have For Season 6
4. How Has The Timeline Been Changed Following Nora's Apparent Death?
As Flashpoint taught us all, there are always consequences when time travel is involved because, when all is said and done, time has a way of catching up with the time traveller - and, unfortunately for Nora, that's exactly what happened.
Like Thawne said, a new timeline was setting in, making her nothing more than a relic from a previous one that no longer existed. But that right there is the intriguing part because, if the timeline had been altered, shouldn't she just have lost her own memories and gained new ones (much like how the change to Zari's past in Legends of Tomorrow simply altered her path and, in doing so, wiped the Legends' memories of her)?
With that in mind, it's possible that Nora didn't just change the future/her past. In fact, it looks like she erased herself from existence forever, meaning that Barry and Iris are no longer destined to have her in the future. With that, it's possible that she has single-handedly created a new destiny for the West-Allen family - one that doesn't involve her at all.
Could we see Barry and Iris end up channelling their comic book counterparts and have twins now instead? Remember, when the former returned from the Speed Force in the Season 4 premiere, he hinted at having more than one child, commenting how he and Iris were "going to need more diapers". Are the Tornado Twins destined to show up next season instead?
Nora may have been the cause of the timeline changes, but she was also the effect and, as a result, she has altered the course of her family's story forever.
