The Flash: 10 Major Predictions For Season 3

When Violett Beane was cast last year, it was announced that she'd eventually be taking on the role of Jesse Quick, a speedster from the comics. That didn't happen straightaway, but there were a few occasions that it looked like she might develop speed powers. She was captured by Zoom, but nothing. Then hit by the particle accelerator, but still nothing (apparently). Then brought out of her coma by Barry, but again, no speed (or so it seems).

Season 3, then, is likely when we're going to finally see those powers develop. This could of course be a result of Flashpoint, but I think there's actually a good chance her powers have come from the particle accelerator - and thus stand outside of Flashpoint, especially as she's an Earth-2 character, and it's unclear if/how that'll be affected. Cisco is an example of a character who had a delayed response, and something similar could be happening with Jesse.
