The Flash looks set to introduce more speedsters in the second season, but they were probably thinking more along the lines of running at super speeds like Barry does. The Top also goes at incredible speeds, only not running, but when he spins (like spinning top, gettit?). He uses his spinning as a means of defence from enemies, including the ability to deflect bullets, and also discovers that the spinning gives him increased intelligence, eventually developing telekinetic and telepathic powers, and the ability to induce vertigo in others. Its all stuff that would very much fit in with the established tone and world of the show, and pitting Flash against a very different kind of speed would make for an intriguing battle.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
