In 2014, Barry Allen came alive through CW's The Flash. Adapted straight from the pages of DC Comics, the show has given this fan-favourite speedster the live-action rendering he deserves.
Show creators Andrew Kreisberg, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti clearly did not disappoint, introducing a wide array of iconic villains and sidekicks while also throwing alternate Earths into the mix, creating a visually stunning experience for viewers. When coupled with a great storyline, solid character arcs and a well balanced mix of laughter and emotion, there's literally nothing slowing down The Flash.
The show - itself spun off from Arrow - has managed to form a multiverse of other related shows, with several crossovers (including Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Batwoman) and an ever-growing list of characters expanding in and out of the series.
