A bounty hunter from Earth-19, Gypsy was originally a plot device that was designed to reveal more about H.R. Wells' origins while also forcing Cisco to master his powers - two roles that she exceeded at. However, it was the latter that bore the most interesting results, as her subsequent relationship with Cisco allowed her to grow as a human being and ultimately figure out what it was like to care for someone.
She may not have appeared on the show in the same regular fashion as its main cast, but she was about as a regular as a recurring character could get, becoming part of the Team Flash family and, in all honesty, it's a darn shame that she didn't stick around for longer.
