Barry Allen's first girlfriend, Linda Park proved to be quite the charismatic addition to The Flash in its first season and, although she didn't stick around for long, it was her relationship with Barry that ultimately helped made both him and Iris figure out how they felt about each other.
Though she would return to tackle her Earth-2 doppelganger, Dr. Light, and also found out that her ex-boyfriend was none other than the Scarlet Speedster himself, the comeback never really amounted to anything. And considering how integral the character is in the comics, and how engaging Malese Jow is as a performer, fans would be forgiven for expecting a little more from Linda.
