2. How Will Joe Explain Wells To Patty?
With Barrys identity casually revealed to yet another supporting character in Kendra, Patty remains the lone major player unaware of who he is. Thus, she seemingly continues the trend that the only people who cant know about Barrys heroic alter-ego are the women hes interested in. Had she known all of this, its likely she wouldnt have followed Wells into the lab and shot him. But before you blame Patty for anything, keep in mind that shes been kept in the dark about all of this and is doing the right thing in subduing who she believes to be a wanted fugitive responsible for nearly destroying the city and killing Barrys mother. In the wake of what shes seen, Patty is going to need some answers and it looks like its going to fall to her parter to give them. Joes been reluctant to trust her thus far, but it appears he will no longer have a choice. But will it be too late to placate her without giving her the whole truth? And what does this mean for her relationship with Barry going forward?
