The Flash Season 2: 11 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Invincible'

Henry Allen's death was brutal, but it wasn't a surprise. It'd been telegraphed right from the moment he decided to make a permanent return to Barry's life, and the writing was on the wall when in this episode he told his son he believed in him, but wanted him to be careful.

Although I thought they might've saved the death of Barry's father for the finale, they've done it a week early, meaning it'll be the driving force of that last episode. That's not to say it was a particularly good move though, because damn I did not want Henry to go (and also it's just using the death of someone close to the hero to push him through the final conflict, which is similar to Barry and his mother, and also what Arrow did with Laurel).

Is Henry really gone? I can't envision a grief-stricken Barry going back in time to bring him back (and really, that would be terrible for a number of reasons), but what about on Earth-2? It could end credit to the theory he's the man in the iron mask, and even if not there's that link to "Garrick' to address.
