The Flash Season 2: 12 Big Questions We're Asking After 'King Shark'
"We're gonna need a bigger Flash."
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into Earth-1. The Flash teased a Jaws-inspired, King Shark centric episode, and they didn't disappoint. After providing comic book fans with the most outright comic booky 30 seconds of television back towards the start of the season, there's an episode (almost) full of the half-man, half-shark this week. Naturally he can't completely dominate the episode, due to budget restraints, but what they managed to deliver is nonetheless fantastic, and the metahuman gets plenty to sink his considerable teeth into. When King Shark wasn't front-and-centre, the episode also managed to be a third instalment of the Earth-2 saga, picking up on a lot of issues there and dealing with the emotional fallout from them. There was Barry, struggling to deal with his involvement in the death of Earth-2 Joe, and Caitlin grieving over Jay, having only just started to move on from Ronnie (Cisco is a great character, but I don't know if his inability to understand her actions, and ultimately his taking priority in that storyline, was the right way to go). There was a bit more drama for West Family 2.0, an Arrow crossover, and right at the end a massive, twisty, mind-boggling reveal. Suffice to say there are many questions we need answers to.
