The Flash Season 2: 14 WTF Moments From 'Fast Lane'

13. Iris Back To Being A D*ck?

For long-time DC fans, one of the biggest problems €“ in fact, likely the only real problem €“ of The Flash€™s first season was the depiction of Iris West. This is a character who is a vital part of Barry Allen€™s life in the comic book realm and even becomes his wife. Throughout the first season of The CW€™s Scarlet Speedster show, though, Iris was often positioned as a stroppy teenager and was even, dare I say it, essentially The Flash€™s version of Arrow€™s Laurel Lance in that she was just a bit of a d*ck. Luckily, Iris has improved dramatically with Season 2€ well, until she had a little blip in the road here. With Joe doing his best to relate to his recently-discovered son, Iris berates her old man for how he€™s talking to Wally, not to mention takes some shots at Wally for his speed obsession. Seriously? Joe is a well-meaning guy doing his best to strike up a connection with the troubled son that he€™s only known for a matter of weeks. Give the guy a break!
