As Jefferson Jackson and Martin Stein begin their initially uneasy relationship, one of the things Jax tells him is that he has the Titanic soundtrack. This could of course just be a throwaway line, aimed at showing there's another side to Jax and having something for him and Stein to bond over. However, it takes on added significance once you remember that Stein is played by Victor Garber...who also appeared in Titanic, playing Thomas Andrews, the architect of the ship.

Another reference to one of Stein's other roles also seems to appear early on in Season 2. The late Harrison Wells is represented by the lawfirm Weathersby and Stone, a nod to the series Eli Stone, on which Garber played Jordan Weathersby, and was created by Flash showrunners Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti.
