7. Atom-Smasher
It may be on network television, but The Flash is about to get Rated-R! Adam Copeland, best known as WWE star Edge, is coming to Central City to unleash all manner of chaos on the Scarlet Speedster and co., hopefully throwing in a couple of spears for good measure. He will be playing Atom-Smasher, and is confirmed to be smashing up atoms as early as the season 2 opener. The character is the nickname of Albert Rothstein, who gains the ability to change his molecular structure from his supervillain grandfather, Cyclotron. This allows him to grow to great heights, and as he gets taller his strength grows to match. Although he starts off as a crimefighter, he will be a villain in The Flash, with the character's official description reading:
One of the most powerful enemies we encounter this season, Atom-Smasher has come to Central City to kill The Flash. His incredible strength and ability to grow to enormous size makes him more than a match for Flash and the entire S.T.A.R. Labs team will have to come together to find a way to defeat him.
