The Flash Season 3: 12 Things You Need To Know

4. More Kevin Smith

Flash Flashpoint
The CW

To many viewers, one of the big highlights of The Flash’s second season was the episode titled The Runaway Dinosaur. Directed by uber-fan Kevin Smith, the episode delivered one of the most well-rounded and all-encompassing episodes of the series to date, bringing plenty of emotion, plenty of action, and all whole dollop of classic Smith mannerisms and humour.

So, in a move that has pleased many fans, Smith has gone on record to confirm that he will indeed be returning to direct an episode of the upcoming Season 3. In fact, the episode in question will be the seventh episode of this new season.

No details whatsoever are known on what will be going down in said episode, although it will take place after the timeline has righted itself back to ‘normal’ following Flashpoint. As mentioned previously, though, that doesn’t mean that everything will be back to exactly how it was before.

Regardless of where things stand for Barry Allen and Co. in this particular episode, here’s hoping that Smith can give us all something of the same quality as the fantastic Runaway Dinosaur episode of last season.
